Dale Lauterback is a freelance photographer who is an enthusiast of Nature and the outdoors

Dale Lauterback was born and raised and will probably die in California. “There are very few places in the United States, where you can go from the geological wonders of Death Valley, to the grandeur of Yosemite Valley to the breathe taking views of Big Sur, all in one long day”.

Dale Lauterback defines his style as “up close and personal”, he prefers macro shots over telephoto. It allows him to get in close with the subject and share the same space.  “It is difficult sometimes to get a good shot being so close to something that doesn’t want you there, but it adds a little character to the photo”.
